If you wish to join the guild, please use this application template to form the basis of you application. We ask this information of applicant for several reasons. Firstly, it helps us get to know you as much as possible before you join, making the transition to the guild smooth for everyone concerned. Secondly, it shows that an effort has been made to complete the application and that you have true enthusiasm to join Penance for the right reasons.

Thank you for tanking the time to answer all the questions below, and please do so as efficiently and politely as you can.

1. Who are you?:

We want to know a little about you. Your real name, your age, where you live etc. Please feel free to add any additional information about yourself as you wish to.

2. Your character

Please include your character's name, class, race, armory and talent build.

3. Your previous guild history

We'd like to know which, if any, guilds you have previously been a member of and reasons why you want to leave/or have left. It is entirely possible to check your guild history and references can be obtained from previous guild leaders if we believe any information to be false so it is important you are honest with this part, also tell us about your raid experience pre tbc and in tbc.

4. Why do you wish to join Penance?

How you answer this question can really give a good insight into the applicant. We want people to want to join Penance to be part of the lively atmosphere we created, we don't see "because I want loot" as being a valid reason for want to join

5. Who in Penance do you know?

If you know anybody in the guild we can talk to about a character reference, then please give their names here. It's often very helpfull to the outcome of your application if you know somebody in the guild who could vouch for your application.

6. Are you willing to attend raids and respec?

For most classes we have some restrictions on the talent builds, if you would like to join we ask you to respec to our current talent requirements. We are an active raiding guild and need people that can be active. Our usual raid times are from 19.15-23.00 server time, you dont have to attend them all but we expect an attendance near 50% of the raids.


One final word of advice. A GOOD application will go a long way, and EXCELLENT application will go further! Effort shines through, don't be afraid to use some.
